The Homeless Stand Down is a one-day event providing comprehensive resources, clothing, food, medical care, veterans’ assistance, job placement services, and even free haircuts to those facing poverty and homelessness. The Homeless Stand Down takes place each January. Project Serve volunteers support various roles at the Stand Down serving as personal shoppers, hospitality coordinators, veterans support, re-stocking supplies, and affirming those living on the streets.
