Parish Choir-High School students through Adults
Rehearsals Tuesdays, 7-8:30pm, church

Our Parish Choir (teens – adults) supports congregational singing and offers an eclectic array of choral selections at weekend liturgies. Rehearsals are Tuesdays in the church from 7-8:30pm (please enter using the Norwood side entrance). New members are always welcome.

Teens

Teens (grades 7-12) participate in music ministry at most Masses at St. Dominic. We recognize the busy schedules of our teens and have created a flexible approach to involvement in our music ministry program. Instrumentalists currently include violinists, guitarists, trumpeters and bass players. Singers participate in leading the music at all Mass times. Instrumentalists and singers receive a weekly summary of upcoming music via email and are invited to participate at any weekend Mass. Whenever possible, singers are encouraged to rehearse with the Parish Choir Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30pm. If you unable to make it to Tuesday rehearsals, teens can “sit in” with the other music ministers by arriving 30 minutes prior to Mass to learn the selections for the day. (This is a great way to earn needed service hours for high school!)

Youth Choir for Grades 3 through 6
Join us for the Spring Season! Starting February 5
Sundays, 12:30-1:30pm, church

This season we will prepare for Easter Mass, April 8th at Noon, two First Eucharist Liturgies (May 12th & 19th at 3pm), as well as a 5pm Saturday Mass during Lent.  The Youth Choir is a choral group of students from many different schools in grades 3 through 6.  It is a vibrant group that performs music from many different styles with a concentration on music for Christmas and Easter.  Seasonal rehearsals are on Sundays (Advent & Lent) in the church from 12:30-1:30pm.

Instrumentalists

Perform solos and accompany congregational singing. Play and rehearse at your convenience.
