Advent and Christmas are holy and sacred times in the life of the Catholic Church. At St. Dominic there are a variety of activities that help us grow together as a faith community and grow in our faith.

Special Christmas Collection this year…
Keep the Fire  Burning:
A Salvadoran Christmas Project
This Christmas, we will take up a second collection for this special project. Our goal is to purchase 1,000 stoves at $40 each for our friends in El Salvador. These stoves will help families by reducing time spent gathering firewood and improve respiratory problems by reducing smoke inhalation.

Christmas Mass Schedule:

Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25th
11am Mass- Adult Choir

• The Giving Tree-sponsored by Helping Hands Ministry: pick up an ornament off of one of the trees found at the entrances to the church; purchase the item for one of our many partner agencies; secure the ornament to the item you purchase and return to the front of the church by noon December 11th.
• Advent Series: Preparing Your Heart for Christmas  Wednesday December 14th (RSVP required), 7pm in the large meeting room
• Searching for the Light:  Guiding Your Family Toward Hope in a Time of Grief on Mondays, December 5th, 12th & 19th, 7pm, large meeting room
• Annual Choir Concert & Parish Christmas Party, Sunday, December 11th at 5pm, followed by our Party in the Bishop Amos Center; reservations for the party due Dec. 5th!
• Christmas Tree Sale-Bulldog Athletic Club: through Dec. 18th or while supplies last; Saturdays & Sundays 10am-6pm; Thursdays & Fridays 6-9pm (note: no Wed. hours!)
